- i wish i could anwser that Q so much, and be able to actualy do it as my nan is in hospital really ill and has parkinsons the late stages. would do anything to make her better :(
- My Mom, poor tiny little woman, has Parkinson's disease and it is so sad. I would, if only I could, invent a medication to stop the trembling so that a Parkinson's patient could hold their favorite beverage in their hand and sip it (my Mom loves to hold her cup of coffee), or hold the newspaper steady to read it. The steadiness of the hand is something taken for granted by those of us who have it. God Bless everyone who suffers from Parkinson's.
- My nan had pd for years unfortunately it killed her in the end. Horrible disease. Knowing that the mind is still active but the body isn't. Its a really unforgiving disease & at least now there is a little more understanding than 15 years ago when my nan had it. Stimulation is the key. A drug to stop the shakes & slurring in the first onset would be worth it. The drug must be available for all not the postcode lottery there is now! My dad now has alzheimers which is just as bad.
